We live in lightning speed times. Information is at our fingertips as we become instant experts on whatever is thrown our way.  You need to cut to the chase and connect.  Period.  As business owners it's important to execute this professionally and engage our clients.  Professionally executed video is the best way to get your audience to know, like and trust you.

Video has evolved into a cost-effective way to communicate.  Online video is viewed by at least 77% of internet users and on average those viewers are watching approximately 5 hours of content.

But here's what you really need to know...

1. Video is both visual and personal.  With video you can instantly begin to engage your target market.  That's exciting! Your services and/or products have a great platform to grow from.  What you want to make sure of is that you get it right the first time.  Crappy video reads amateur, or worse, desperate.  You want your video(s) to be both purposeful and personal.

2. Video is engaging.  With properly produced video, your website becomes a tool for your target audience to linger on and get to know your business on a whole other scale that print just can't capture.  "You can't hear a photograph", Baseline producer Jim Huber loves to say.  We're living in a multimedia age where online video prevails.  Your videos should reflect the most captivating part of your product and/or service in a manner that creates sales through experience.

3. Video is available 24/7.  Your clients and future prospects can view it anytime on your website.

4. Video pulls at the ol' heart strings.  Video is emotional.  Music and graphics mixed with testimonials lends credibility.  Character can be introduced.  A simple white background that pops your speaker on the screen can immediately connect you to your viewer.  When done effectively, video connects you to your audience.

5. Video can be leveraged.  Video can be used and re-used.  From your website, to social media, to further distribution on DVD.  Production can be multi-purposed to create any media sales tools your business may need.

There has been a video revolution.  76% of marketers used video as part of their strategy for 2012.  What is your video strategy? What is your current Youtube presence? In today's volume of information, your online content is a major key to your business' potential sales.
